Buc-ee's

I missed writing something last week because I just couldn't put my finger on anything God was really showing or teaching me. I was not inspired.

The distraction of a (much beloved) last summer vacation and the prep for school start did not focus me. The longer I went without an idea, the more I began to doubt myself. The lies seeped in.

And then I went to Buc-ee's.

For those of you who do not know Buc-ee's, let me elaborate.

Buc-ee's is like the Costco of gas stations. Everything is big. Everything is jolly. There is room for all vehicle and personality types in this concrete refill haven.

Whilst perusing the tshirt and home good section, I came upon many a bible verse. This little masterpiece being one of them (pic below). As each coffee cup, plate, tshirt, necklace, and hat reflected Jesus’s words back to me, I thought: “Why was I thinking I needed to be inspired!” Friends… the Bible IS inspiration.

I don't have any big words for you this week either. My mind is a mess juggling travel, work, and school start. I'm sticking to the sanity-basics this week (courtesy of Buc-ee's) and I pray you give yourself the grace to do the same.
